The Eye

Photography is closely tied to the way I experience the world.

I’ve always been drawn to travel, nature, and the feeling of discovering places that make me stop and pay attention. When I travel, I become curious again. I enjoy exploring unfamiliar roads, landscapes, and cultures, often without a strict plan and guided mostly by intuition.

My approach to photography is emotional rather than technical. What matters to me is not only the scene itself, but the feeling of being there, the atmosphere, the scale of a landscape, changing weather, silence, or the small details in nature that many people pass by without noticing.

I often travel by car, moving from place to place in search of environments that feel wild, remote, or untouched. Sometimes it’s a dramatic landscape that leaves an impression on me; other times it’s something much quieter. A shape, a texture, a moment of light, or simply the feeling a place creates.

Traveling alone has also become an important part of my process. Time in nature gives me space to think, observe, and reconnect with myself. I don’t see nature as an escape, but as something familiar, almost like returning home.

Some moments stay with me for years: hearing a glacier crack in the Alps, hiking through the landscapes of Huascaran NP in Peru, or standing in complete awe of the Faroe Islands. Experiences like these remind me how powerful and humbling the natural world can be.

Through photography, I try to share that sense of wonder and connection. I hope that these images encourage people to slow down, observe more carefully, and appreciate the beauty of the world we live in and the importance of protecting it.
